Being a Body Unable to Mount
Video

Being a Body Unable to Mount operates like an unstable simulation of a nightmare. Automatic, wrestling, and pacing violently. Detachment from the body and reality. A tug of war between the real and synthetic and the potential of transformation.

The work utilizes unconventional video animation and sound
to evoke a feeling of tension and the uncanny. Possibly triggering an unsettling reaction between the image and the viewer in which they are faced with their own sense of corporeality.
